Developing technology modules and accessing the Enterprise Architect model repository

Last modified : Monday 09 November, 02:03

Overview

This course regards some specific low-level facilities provided by Enterprise Architect to:

  • embed domain-specific UML profiles, design pattern, custom diagram types and resources and deliver them as technological modules, which can be installed on any Enterprise Architect environment,
  • access Enterprise Architect model repositories through the dedicated API. The tool offers a development interface which can be accessed through many programming languages, including Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0, Borland Delphi 7.0, Microsoft C# and Java; the Integration Course can be customized depending on the platform you are interested in.

Duration

This is a 1-day course.

Target Audience

This course is aimed at a technical audience and is intended to be an in-depth explanation on the realization of technological modules for Enterprise Architect and on the use of the automation interface for repository access. Participants should already be familiar with the modeling environment: those who already attended the Foundation and Advanced Courses surely meet the minimum requirements to attend the Integration Course (for more information, see the Foundation Course program and the Advanced Course program).
