The main goal of the Enterprise Architecture Manager Soft Extensions Course is to teach how to extend the metamodel structure of Enterprise Architecture Manager (EAM) by adding new Item Types and by enabling advanced searches through the creation of labels to be associated to the modeled entities; this can be especially useful if you need to support an alternative (possibly domain-specific) metamodel or data structure in your EAM models. Moreover, this course explains how to create interactive graphical maps to ease the navigation of the workspace trough Microsoft Visio. Like all our other courses, this one includes a practical example for each topic. |

This is a 4-day course.
People willing to attend this course naturally have a little experience working with EAM; as an alternative, we suggest to attend the EAM Final User Course before attending this one. The EAM Soft Extensions Course is targeted at EAM users who are interested in improving the model navigation and search means provided by the web-based interface and to the ones who need to support custom (typically domain-specific) metamodels that go beyond the ones already supported by EAM.
