Soluta.Net annouces the release of OMG's Business Motivation Model extension to Adaptive Enterprise Architecture Manager.

The Business Motivation Model (BMM) provides a scheme for developing, communicating, and managing business requirements and motivations in a formal and organized manner. Specifically, the BMM does all of the following:

• It identifies factors that motivate the establishing of business plans.
• It identifies and defines the elements of business plans.
• It indicates how all these factors and elements inter-relate.

Among these elements are those that provide governance for and guidance to the business such as Business Policies and Rules.

The structure of the BMM, together with the key features of the Adaptive metadata repository, provides the basis for logical design of easily-constructed tools for storing and managing, cross-referencing and reporting the elements of business plans for business enterprises.
