COIN (Collaboration and Interoperability for networked enterprises)
"By 2020 enterprise collaboration and interoperability services will become an invisible,
pervasive and self-adaptive knowledge and business utility at disposal of the European networked enterprises
from any industrial sector and domain in order to rapidly set-up, efficiently manage and effectively operate different
forms of business collaborations, from the most traditional supply chains to the most advanced and dynamic business ecosystems.”
The mission of the COIN IP is to study, design, develop and prototype an open, self-adaptive, generic ICT integrated solution to support the above 2020 vision.
COIN business-pervasive open-source service platform will be able to expose, integrate, compose and mash-up in a secure and adaptive way existing and innovative to-bedeveloped Enterprise Interoperability
and Enterprise Collaboration services, by applying intelligent maturity models, business rules and self-adaptive decision-support guidelines to guarantee the best combination of the needed services in
dependence of the business context, as industrial sector and domain, size of the companies involved, openness and dynamics of collaboration.
This way, the Information Technology vision of Software as a Service (SaaS) will find its implementation in the field of interoperability among collaborative enterprises,
supporting the various collaborative business forms, from supply chains to business ecosystems, and becoming for them like a utility, a commodity, the so-called Interoperability Service Utility (ISU).
The COIN project will finally develop an original business model based on the SaaS-U (Software as a Service-Utility) paradigm where the open-source COIN service platform will be able to integrate both
free-of-charge and chargeable, open and proprietary services depending on the case and business policies.

The main objective of the ONE project is to enrich Digital Ecosystems with an decentralised negotiation environment and enabling tools that
will allow organisations to create contract agreements for supplying integrated services as a virtual organisation.

Soluta.net is a provider of MDA Services to Selex Communications OTE a Finmeccanica Company.
Soluta.net, in collaboration with Kennedy Carter, has won an international RFI submitted via OMG
for providing an MDA Fast Start Program.
Selex Communication OTE is using MDA in their software lifecycle to generate embedded C and C++ code for their aeronautical radio communications devices.

Soluta.net is providing Architectural definition and support for the realization of an ERP project for CoopService.
It has over 10.000 employee, €350 millions of total turnover, €50 millions in assets, Coopservice is a market leader offering a wise set of integrated services: cleaning and environmental sanitation, cleaning and handling of hospital linens, surveillance and security, logistics and transport, picking up and disposal of special waste, technical management of building and industrial plants...
The system is going to connect customers and suppliers, managing the supply chain in a two face style architecture: ERP for the intra enterprise processes and B2B for the inter enterprise. The entire application is MDA based applying leading edge technology for the business project management.

Soluta.net has the architecture leadership of the strategic EU-funded project: Digital Business Ecosystem: A Digital Business Ecosystem is defined as “evolutionary self-organising system aimed at creating a digital software environment for small organisations” that support the regional and local development by empowering open, distributed and adaptive technologies and evolutionary business models for small organisations growth. The overall objective of the DBE is aimed at proving Europe with a recognized advantage in innovative software application development by its SME industry, creating a digital business ecosystems for SMEs and software providers thus improving their value network. An open-source distributed environment will support the spontaneous evolution, adaptation and composition of software components - which embed also business rules - and services allowing SMEs, that are solution and e-business service providers, to cooperate in production of components, and applications adapted to local business needs.
